Daybreak is peaceful along the shoreline of Kauswagan town in Lanao del Norte on Friday, August 13. The town will be commemorating on August 18 the attack byMoro Islamic Liberation Front fighters in which several civilians died, triggering a resurgence of violence that sent up to 700,000 central Mindanao residents fleeing their homes in 2008.
